Ski Rental
Black Tie Ski Rentals is our onsite ski valet service. Black Tie Ski Rental will fine tune your skis or give you a private fitting in your residence upon your arrival. When you are done with a hard day of skiing just ski right into the WestWall Lodge and hand your equipment to the ski valet. Your boots are placed on a dryer and are toasty for the next day. The ski valet attendants will answer any questions you have about your equipment as well as recommend the best trails Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to offer. Grocery Shopping
The WestWall Lodge Concierge Service will be happy to get your groceries for you. Just give us a call at 1-888-349-1280 and your groceries will be in your residence when you arrive.
Or other options include the array of grocery stores in the Gunnison Valley which will fit any of your family’s needs. City Market is located at 880 N Main St. in Gunnison. City Market is a large full-service grocery with a wide selection of foods to choose from including a floral shop, deli, video store and a pharmacy. Clark’s Market is located in Crested Butte at 500 Belleview St. Clark’s Market is the perfect place to pick up last minute meal ideas. Clark’s Market also has a deli to pick up a fast lunch for you and your family.
Mountain Earth is Crested Butte’s only health food store located at 405 4th Street. Mountain Earth has Gunnison Valley’s largest supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. Stop by and try their daily organic soup specials. In the summer there is a Farmer’s Market for fresh organic produce, fresh breads and baked goods and much more. Dinner Reservations
For fine dining, our Concierge Service can call ahead for your dinner reservations. Both Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte are overflowing with fine cuisine from around the world – France, Greece, Thailand, Japan and Italy, as well as casual and quirky joints offering good old fashioned burgers, pizza or barbecue.
Babysitting
Babysitting services by first aide trained and CPR certified sitters are available by appointment. Please call our concierge service at 1-888-349-1280 with the times and dates you will be needing a babysittter. We recommend Crested Butte’s ”A” List Nanny Service
Excursions
The WestWall Lodge wants you to enjoy your vacation without worrying about the hassle of making reservations. Be sure to ask our Concierge for recommendations on fun family adventures as well as making reservations for you. There are plenty of options to choose from. Here’s only a sample:
Take a 4×4 excursion to the historic mining towns of Gothic and Schofield while experiencing crystalline waterfalls and waist high wildflowers. Stop in at the General Store in Gothic for an ice cream before your tour with a renowned scientist from the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. Continue over Paradise Divide for a picnic above treeline then descend into Washington Gulch and finally home. Now that’s a day.
Bike trails hurtle through aspen groves and meadows of wildflowers for the beginner, intermediate and expert rider. Or, you can use the Silver Queen lift to get you closer to climbing the peak of Mt. Crested Butte at 12,162 feet.
Aspen-clad Snodgrass Mountain is only a short shuttle away for cruising intermediate single track on your bike in the summer or embracing the peacefulness of snowshoe and cross-country skiing in the winter.
The Black Canyon is a spectacular area with incredible views. The Black Canyon is filled with tons of family adventures. There is plenty of site-seeing, hiking, fly-fishing, and white water rafting.
